If we compare the Earth to a human, this dire situation seems like the Earth is struggling and suffering greatly. Because of this, we, as humans, are also suffering in the same way. It appears both the Earth and humans are suffering together. Our self-interest in mind and behaviors from our egoism brings about this situation.
In other words, we can describe the current state of the Earth that humans' evil ego is covering and making it dark.

The deprivation and the consumption due to the endless dissatisfaction with Earth's resources are all caused by humans' selfishness to prioritize today's individual profit without considering the future. Therefore, the destruction of the Earth's environment has occurred. Haven't you already begun to feel, "Is it alright for the world to continue like this?" or "Can't it be?"

In such a situation, indeed, there are things we can do.

The great natural force, we inherently possess is the sentiment of gratitude. So, it is time to awaken and express our appreciation to the Earth.
