The "Prayer of Gratitude
to the Earth"

Each one of us was born from a mother and nurtured by the mother's love. We could say, this Earth is like a mother to us.

We have received the gift of life from the Earth, and it is the Earth that has sustained us. Yet instead of offering gratitude, have we not, in truth, caused the Earth great harm? The Earth is not merely a mass of minerals. It is a living being, with its own consciousness. And now, that living Earth is suffering - wounded by the actions of humanity, and nearing the brink of collapse.

Let us reflect deeply on the path we have taken. Let us repent and begin offering heartfelt prayers of gratitude. The energy of our prayers becomes golden light that envelops the Earth. When people around the world pray at noon in their local time, this golden light follows the Earth's rotation, surrounding the planet like a radiant veil. Day after day, again and again, let us wrap the Earth in light. When all of humanity joins together in this act, we begin the great work of healing and restoring our planet. This is the "Prayer of Gratitude to the Earth."

Even if the power of each person is small, it becomes a big power if the power is combined.

When thoughts of people on the Earth become one, it will be that the Earth begins to shine like a "Golden Apple".

Would You Like to Pray for Mother Earth?

• Offer your prayer of gratitude to the Earth in your own heartfelt way. (For inspiration, see "Posted Prayers")
• You may pray alone or with others.
• Pray wherever you are - at home, at work, or in nature.
• If possible, pray at noon. If noon is difficult, choose a time that works best for you.

Pray For Mother Earth

Currently, the destruction of the Earth's environment caused by human activities is continuing. As a result, unprecedented abnormal weather phenomena and large-scale disasters are occurring globally such as intensified typhoons, massive forest fires, and droughts.

If we compare the Earth to a human, this dire situation seems like the Earth is struggling and suffering greatly. Because of this, we, as humans, are also suffering in the same way. It appears both the Earth and humans are suffering together. Our self-interest in mind and behaviors from our egoism brings about this situation.
In other words, we can describe the current state of the Earth that humans' evil ego is covering and making it dark.

The deprivation and the consumption due to the endless dissatisfaction with Earth's resources are all caused by humans' selfishness to prioritize today's individual profit without considering the future. Therefore, the destruction of the Earth's environment has occurred. Haven't you already begun to feel, "Is it alright for the world to continue like this?" or "Can't it be?"

In such a situation, indeed, there are things we can do.

The great natural force, we inherently possess is the sentiment of gratitude. So, it is time to awaken and express our appreciation to the Earth. Since we have "profited" from the blessings of Mother Earth freely, we must now realize they are never "promised" ones. Then, let us offer our prayers with these sentiments in our hearts.

As these prayers of gratitude toward the Earth spread throughout the world, the egoistic behaviors harming the Earth will gradually diminish.

This way will regenerate the Earth beautifully, and at the same time, our suffering will cease. Hence the Earth will be in peace, tranquillity, and happiness.
